Amend the law so Chartered Legal Executives can certify Powers of Attorney

Closed 854 signatures

What the petition asks

At present we cannot certify General or Lasting Powers of Attorney under existing legislation despite the fact that we can apply to run our own legal practices or be a Judge. It causes confusion for clients and we are having to rely on the goodwill of Solicitor colleagues to assist certifying copies
