Abolish naming and shaming in primary schools!
Rejected

What the petition asks
Naming and shaming is a form of emotional abuse it can cause both mental and physical harm. If you went into work one morning and saw your name on the office wall with your deficiencies listed how would you feel? Please end this archaic and demeaning behavioural management system.
Early years care is supposed to be a nurturing and enabling environment in which your child can feel safe happy and learn. Not somewhere you are singled out and humiliated.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This decision is the responsibility of the school, not the Government or Parliament. You could raise this with the school's senior management and/or the governing body.
