Give all nationalities in army U.K. Citizenship

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

A Fijian national and all nationalities who joins the British Army shouldn't have to apply for U.K. Citizenship after they have served there 22years. They joined ARE army to fight for are country and still could face deportation after they have served their time.
I am fighting for this to be changed,I have a family with an Fijian national who once has served his time has to apply to become a U.K. Citizen. This could then be refused for him getting sent back to his own country and leaving his family behind. Please stand with me and help change this!

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition asking for anyone who serves in the Army to be automatically entitled to British citizenship, if that's what you want to happen.

You'll need to give your full name to start a petition
