To create a law for road side safety when recovering vehicles.

What the petition asks
The role of a recovery patrol is a dangerous one and more needs to be done for their safety whilst they are risking their lives helping others.
The USA already have a law in place to slow down and move over to protect recovery patrols on the side of the road but we don’t have any law for that here in the UK.
Many have sadly lost their lives to this job because of other drivers not paying attention the roads and it’s laws- from speeding up to get past to not paying attention to roads closed.
Many families are destroyed and left without loved ones and not many people realise the danger for these patrols.
