Reconsider the Offensive Weapons Bill for fencers and hobbyists.

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

The Home Secretary Sajid Javid is looking to have a bill put through parliament stopping any form of balded object being sent to "Private addresses", we, the undersigned, would like this bill reconsidered for fencers and hobbyists (re-enactors and HEMA practitioners)
This article below by The Sun proclaiming a victory for their campaign seems to make it clear that all blades will be put under the new legislation without exception, a move that will damage cultivation of sport, academia and culture in the UK.
