Withdraw Trump's invitation in light of his inhumane immigration policies
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
The US government under President Trump has enacted a horrific immigration policy by splitting up families. Children, toddlers, and even babies have been removed from their parents and placed in detention centers with no means of contacting or being reunited with their parents.
The consequences of this policy in terms of human suffering in unimaginable and as a mother, and an immigrant to this country, I cannot begin to imagine the pain and suffering those families must be going through. The UK should not be a party or even offer a hand of friendship to a regime that allows these inhumane, racist actions to be carried out in its name.
