Stop this Brexit nonsense: it’s based on misleading info & wastes resources.

What the petition asks

If challenged about Brexit, the response by ministers is “the people have voted!”.. but they repeatedly fail to acknowledge that those votes were by only a quarter of the population, and that they were based on misinformation and unsubstantiated statements, most of which are still unanswered today!
The Referendum was NOT a final decision: Cameron himself said it was an indicator. The votes taken for Brexit were based on speculation, marketing, and outright lies. Watching the current PM (previous Remain supporter) scrabbling around now makes it clear. Also, not everyone who could vote, did vote: therefore claiming that “the people spoke” is nonsense.

The reality is, for the UK to leave the EU is to take a huge step backwards.

“Equality and separation cannot exist in the same space”.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition asking for the UK not to leave the European Union, if that's what you'd like to happen.
