Remove traveller encampments the day they are reported
Rejected

What the petition asks
I demand that all traveller encampments are removed from private land, council owned land and any other areas where reports are made, by force if necessary. The UK taxpayers fund the cost of bailiff action, court costs, clean up and harassment on a daily basis when they arrive.
Evidence supports that there is always an increase of verbal abuse, thefts of property and animals, violent threats and often actual physical assault.
The taxpayers have an annual increase in council tax, their homes and areas they live are violated and their families are abused. This has to stop. The public demand action.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Dealing with illegal and unauthorised encampments is the responsibility of local agencies, including local councils and the police, not the UK Government or Parliament.
