Provision of a 'Mental Health' A&E Department.

What the petition asks
It is no secret that the provision of mental health services is extremely 'pushed' and under ever-increasing strain. Individuals find it hard to get appropriate referrals to the necessary mental health teams. This may be in relation to addiction, anxiety disorders or depression.
Help me get something in place so people suffering from a mental health crisis have somewhere to turn, somewhere they can go and get the help or referrals required to get the level of professional help required so they can manage their condition with dignity and without prejudice.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We understand that you'd like to see better emergency services for people with mental health problems, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition calling for the provision of emergency mental health services at all A&E departments, if that is what you want.
