Petition · past parliament

Consider coursework as well as test papers in GCSE grading.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

Before the GCSE changes that occured in 2017, core subjects were marked with coursework in mind, as well as the GCSE papers. This is very important, considering that students are stressed with exams already, and coursework can provide a more realistic insight in to what students can get.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you'd like changes to how GCSEs are assessed, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
