What the petition asks
Homeless people are some of the most vulnerable members of society, but face the risk of physical and verbal attacks by members of the public daily. Homeless people are at risk of having their possessions stolen and subjected to emotional abuse just because they live in absolute poverty.
These are people who are discriminated against because they are affected by poverty. They should be protected by the same laws that protect people from other kinds of hate crimes.
