Launch a independent inquiry into islamphobia in the Conservative party.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I believe that recent calls by the Muslim council of Britain to launch an independent enquiry into islamaphobia in the Conservative party should be carried out to ensure the integrity of the party and to help ensure that racism of any kind is stamped out alongside fostering inclusivity in Parliament
Recent calls by the Muslim council of Britain have recently been made due to recent islamphobic actions by conservative representitives and which include as stated in their request for an enquiry.
MP Bob Blackman who has shared anti Muslim posts and was found to be members of anti Muslim Facebook groups
Other representatives have also shown islamaphobia such as
Mike Payne who shared an article calling Muslims “parasites” and
Nick Sundin calling the prophet Mohammed a f***ing pedophile

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This is the responsibility of the Conservative party, not the UK Government or Parliament.
