What the petition asks
Pill is a growing town with a promising economy. The population of the surrounding towns, Portishead, Clevedon and Portbury are constantly on the rise. The transport links in the area are notoriously poor and a airport is a definite necessity.
Portishead is the fastest developing town in the whole of Europe. It’s population is going through the roof, it will soon be known as a city. Every city needs a transport link to the rest of the world and Pill is the ideal location for said airport. Pill, a small town with a booming economy would be an ideal location to connect this area of the country to the rest of the world. It has the potential to become a thriving centre point of the south west. Pill has the perfect amount of space for it.
