Ban Chinese lanterns and baloon releases

What the petition asks
After the support received to blockade the lantern event in Buxton I see no reason why wildlife should be put at risk for a few hours "entertainment" the risk of fire the likes of those seen recently at saddleworth moor, as well as the litter and danger to wildlife and livestock.
Even the "biodegradable" materials used in allot kf these products can take months or even years to break down causing death to many species of wildlife allot of which are protected or endangered, peat wildfires are also a huge concern, peat burns like tobacco and can burn meters into the earth to resurface anywhere causing a fast spread of fire that can not be contained. Many animals kept as livestock and even pets have been busy or set alight and hurt or killed and balloons can cause the same.
