The news has today highlighted how political campaigns use data farmed from social media and data brokers, without the knowledge of those the data is about. This data is then used to influence the electoral campaign (including Brexit).

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular we're not sure what you mean by "set out how personal data can be used".

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition explicitly calling for the Government to introduce a code of practice on how personal information can be used by political campaigns.
