Allow the rules of intestacy to be challenged when evidence allows

What the petition asks
Allow the rules of intestacy to be challenged where there is evidence that the deceased wishes for their estate to be distributed another way
The rules of intestacy are severely outdated and do not allow for the complex families we have nowadays. They allow for people to inherit when this isn't what the deceased would have wanted or when all evidence points to another method of distribution. The rules should not be as black and white as they are at present. There should be an allowance for people to challenge the rules when necessary.
