Review of Nottingham City Councils Selective Licensing Scheme.

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

We believe Nottingham Landlords have not received enough notice to prepare themselves for the impending scheme coming into force 1 August 2018.
The proposed licence fee is £780 for those without accreditation (applications must be submitted by 1 August) and this figure is still subject to final approval by the Executive Board which is not due to meet until 31 July 2018.
Nottingham City will only accept accreditation through DASH or Unipol, with DASH having closed their application process without prior notice to any Landlords on 13 July 2018.
No Landlords have had written prior notice of any of these implementations and more time must be given.
