What the petition asks
People have been stopped from displaying the Union Flag at public events. The latest being the Durham Miners Gala where they were forced to leace the city.
The Durham Miners Gala on the 14th July 2018. People were made to leave the event for flying the Union Flag.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
People are already allowed to carry the Union Flag, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
