To recognize that Hyperhidrosis is a life long disability.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Hyperhidrosis is known as 'The silent killer' because of the effects it has on its sufferers. This condition is very disabling, physically and mentally. However unless you suffer personally most people are unaware of its adverse effects on sufferers.
Please help us get this recognized as a life long disability.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Laws and policies, including the Equality Act, don't list specific conditions and define them as disabilities. In most cases, it’s the impact that a health condition has on the person’s life that qualifies them for support or protection under the law.
