Petition · past parliament

Abort the flawed attempt of leaving the EU immediately.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

A slight majority of people voted leave in the 2016 advisory election. The government is duty-bound to act in the best interests of our constituents and the country.
Stop Brexit now and put the money and effort into EU reform to fix the domestic issues, which caused this catastrophe.
1) Electoral laws have been broken!
2) Thousands of UK citizens living in the EU were denied a vote.
3) The referendum was advisory only
4) People who voted for Brexit were not informed of the implications of a hard Brexit

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you mean by "Abort the flawed attempt of leaving the EU immediately."

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a petition asking for the UK not to leave the EU, if that's what you'd like to happen.

You'll need to give your full name to start a petition.
