What the petition asks
The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union is important to everybody. It gives people a voice to be heard. The Charter of Rights needs to be converted into UK law after leaving EU so that our rights as humans are fully protected both at home and abroad.
EU Charter of Rights gives access to proper justice and proper freedom for all without partiality. The UK has had a good history on human rights and protection for its citizens both at home and abroad.
Remember important rights like that of education and healthcare do not exist in UK law they are from the Charter and just a small example of why it is vital that it is retained at UK law in the even of our withdrawal from the EU
