Emergency Services to be exempt from parking fines or tickets while on shift
Rejected

What the petition asks
Emergency services are often only able to take breaks at short notice which often means limited choices for parking.
Provided they park with reasonable precautions and for less than an hour they should be able to park in any public or private car park without charge or restriction.

Recently there are many cases that have caused national headlines where Paramedics have stopped on double yellow lines in order to purchase lunch where they have attracted parking tickets.
Also in some instance this kind of behaviour has happened while attending emergency calls.
