What the petition asks

Rates and rent are continuously on the rise, Britain will no longer have independent cafes, shops and restaurants if something isn’t done to stop this. It’s not only affecting people’s lively hoods but ruining villages and towns. Greed from councils, landlords and the government will ruin us all!

I think the evidence is right in front of us! Empty units fill the streets.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
