What the petition asks
my son is 5 yrs old, non verbal autistic, who's behaviour can be hard and unpredictable at times, especially on public transport where we have had to explain his behaviour and rude comments made about him. physical disabilities don't have to be explained so why should invisible ones?
hidden and mental disabilities should be recognised equal to those with physical disabilities. no one should have to justify their actions because of their disability. signs should be put in restaurants, on public transport, in schools and play parks etc and any other public places with large volumes of people ...
