Ask MP Naz Shah why she didn't apologise for the Rotherham child abuse retweet

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

MP for Bradford West Labour Naz Shah, shared a “hurtful” tweet saying child abuse victims “should keep their mouths shut” to resign.
It said: “Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere just need to shut their mouths. For the good of diversity.”
She has never apologised.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This would be a personal decision for the MP, not the responsibility of the UK Government and Parliament as a whole.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
