Make cats protected under the Road Traffic Act 1988

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Dogs, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys etc are all protected by the RTA if they are hit, however cats are not protected and don’t make the cut. There is not difference between each animal and therefore cats should be protected.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
