What the petition asks

Bobby Moore was the greatest ever England mens football Captain and the only (so far) to win the world cup. He did at the young age of 51 and was overlooked for a knighthood. However he is one of the greatest ever English men and still loved by millions, whom I believe would think he deserves this.

Only Mens England Captain to left the world cup.

One of the greatest ever defenders our country has produced, who has achieved hero status and loved by all football fans.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept your petition because it asks for someone to be nominated for an honour.

We could accept a petition calling on the Government and Parliament to reform the honours system, so that knighthoods can be awarded posthumously.
