Keep Truro’s homelessness charity and shelter open

Shelter in Truro have announced that they’ll be closing their Truro branch of housing and homelessness. This is the only branch in the whole of Cornwall and provides help and support for the homeless, closing this down will not “eradicate rough sleeping” and will only make matters worse.

We can't accept your petition as Shelter is a charity and independent of the UK Government and Parliament.

You could start a new petition asking the Government to provide more funding or specific support to tackle homelessness and housing issues in Cornwall if that is something you would like to see happen.
