Ban the use of glyphosate in the UK

Closed 1,220 signatures

What the petition asks

Since classified a probable carcinogen, many are saying NO to glyphosate.

Why not prove chemicals safe before allowing use?

UK GOV If you take your duty of care seriously, you would ban it now, pending review, as there is no proof it does not cause illnesses & mounting evidence it does.
This petition is on behalf of ‘Against Glyphosate Europe’ - A networking, solidarity and information exchange group for European based campaigners wanting to effect Glyphosate bans. (Can be found on facebook)

Reasons to ban:

1) Dewayne Johnson against Monsanto - www.theguardian.com/business/2018/aug/11/one-mans-suffering-exposed-monsantos-secrets-to-the-world

2) WHO: ‘probably carcinogenic’

3) Glyphosate can cause cancer: www.euronews.com/2016/07/01/glyphosate-can-cause-cancer
