Petition · past parliament

UK aid budget be used to help disasters, health and education.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Money should be spent on people in need, or to advance health and education. Many diseases in the world could be greatly reduced with proper aid and have the potential to reach the UK without serious help to deal with them!
Aid is currently a political tool and should be defined in law as an altruistic tool to help those in need!

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Foreign aid is already used for humanitarian aid, health and education.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
