change the law so that child exploitation gets a minimum 15 years

What the petition asks
Due to the increasing problem in my area of child exploitation and children as young as 11 years old who are being groomed I would like to see the law changed in sentencing
For many years in my are and many other areas up and down the country gangs have been grooming girls as young as 11 they are then sold.
The girls suffer the most horrendous acts at the hands of these groomers and this will last until they are around 16

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We are not sure which criminal offences you would like to see sentencing changed for. "Child exploitation" is not a specific offence so we do not know whether you mean child sexual exploitation or also mean to include other forms of abuse or neglect.
You could start a new petition setting out clearly which offences you would like to change the minimum sentences for.
