Shorten summer holidays and extend Christmas holidays

What the petition asks
The summer holidays are far too long especially for the families that can’t afford the expenses of going out all of the time. The Christmas holidays would be better with an extra week or two off especially with the bad weather.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Government doesn't set school holiday dates. These are the responsibility of individual schools and local councils.
