Provide loans to help citizens who become seriously ill abroad return home

What the petition asks
My uncle, Charlie, had a stroke in Cambodia and was on life support. Repatriation to the UK was £105,000. There must be a contingency plan for sick British nationals with no insurance who need to be repatriated. No British citizen should die because they can't afford medical care.
The Government should provide a reasonable loan scheme that families can use to get their loved ones home. These loans should be paid back as and when it is realistically possible for the family to do so.
