Petition · past parliament

Make halal meat visibally clearly labelled and for restaurants to do the same.

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

People are having choices taken away from them and more and more halal is being sold to us .
Most eateries are also following suit, and is difficult to find non halal places to eat. This is discriminating against people who are not muslim.
A couple had a weekend break away in a country hotel and discovered that the meat they had been served was halal. This was not advertised prior to their visit , and they were made to feel stupid that they had not asked prior to booking, since when have we had to ask this question?
