What the petition asks
It has become a common occurrence for women, especially young women, to be sexually harassed/ intimidated through social media. This predatory behaviour by young men needs to stop and the law needs updating.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. You could start a new petition asking for sexual harassment, including on social media, to be made a specific criminal offence, if that's what you'd like to happen.
