Transfer the responsibility of A422 Brackley - Banbury to Highways England

What the petition asks
The section of the A422 between Brackley and Banbury is used quite heavily by all forms of transport at the moment the road is under Northamptonshire Highways, and not Highways England, plans for a Farthinghoe By Pass have yet to materialise.
At the moment the road is closed for a small bridge repair near Farthinghoe.
Which is causing chaos with minor roads unsuitable for use of high traffic volumes. The road is also a diversion route for M40 Traffic from Junction 10 to 11 vice versa when road accidents occur on the motorway between those junctions.
