Criminalise chatting to children online even if the chat isn't sexual.

What the petition asks
We believe it should be an offence (when the child and adult do not know each other "offline" - in real life) to chat to a child under the age of 16 online, whether actual sexual grooming takes place or not.
Children can still be manipulated into meeting with an adult whose true intentions to sexually abuse the victim are never revealed in chat. Indeed cases just like this do happen when nothing remotely sexual has been discussed in chat yet the intention to facilitate the meet is still the aim by the predator who has then gone on to abuse the child.
