What the petition asks
Right for 28 days to repay prescription charges:
Right to 28 days to repay prescription charges:
Temporary financial difficulties happen to us all at some point in our lives, and being struck by one can be made worse when you become ill but don't qualify for financial support. I would like to propose that there be made available a 28 day period of grace for all citizens to pay prescription charges after the receipt of items. No one should be left without medical care because of a short term financial crisis.
So those who desperately need medical help can receive it and re-pay within their next pay period.
