What the petition asks
As a student in the heart of Yorkshire, I believe it is the fundamental right for citizens of Yorkshire to have greater power over their society, economy and environment.
This is why I am proposing to start a referendum to decide whether the people of Yorkshire want to be independent from England but remain in the United Kingdom.
