What the petition asks

We believe that given the momentousness of the occasion, 16yo-18yo should, in the event of a future Brexit referendum, be permitted the right to vote.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

UK residents aged 16 and 17 year olds should be able to vote in referendums.
