Reform the education system
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
The school system currently in place is based on an archaic and dated system from the industrial revolution which stifles creativity, homework doesn't help students learn and only makes them stressed and standardized tests are not a good indicator of a student's intelligence but rather their memory.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the education system, but we're not sure exactly what you mean by "reform the system".
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
