What the petition asks
I believe that it is the number 1 human right to know who you are. Technology makes this possible it needs to be compulsory so people don’t find out in adulthood that their biological father isn’t who they thought it was.
I would like the government to step in and make it compulsory for a child to have a DNA test at birth and give the child the knowledge of who their fathers are and vice versa
The DNA sample should be destroyed and other further information should be taken. The result should be entered on a child's birth certificate.
I am a mother and I believe children and men need to know who they are related too. It will takes away doubt and makes for a more confident, honest society, for children to grow up in.
