What the petition asks

For a worldly institution to ban a national symbol of remembrance for those who gave their all should be an individuals choice & university's obligation to display their respect, without those who sacrificed everything the university may not be here today.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This would be a decision for Cambridge University and not the UK Government or Parliament.
