Consider the rescheduling of Cannabis from Class B to Class C
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Cannabis is currently grouped in Class B with the following: Ketamine, Amphetamines and Synthetic cannabinoids however cannabis is the only one on that list that is 100% natural and has a death count of 0 therefore should not be catagorised a Class B but at the most a Class C.
It is clear and evident in this day and age that cannabis is extremely safe with unparalleled medicinal qualities and should not be dismissed in such uneducated and irresponsible ways.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you would like the Government to reconsider the scheduling of cannabis, but we are unsure how you would like it to do this or whether you would like the Government to simply reschedule it.
You could start a new petition calling for the Government to commission independent research into rescheduling cannabis if that is something you would like to see happen.
