Make child care more affordable for working parents of children under age three

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Child care cost for a child under three of a working parent amount to more then a monthly wage take home . Leaving parents not been able to afford to work or cover child care cost .
Example my take home wage is £1649 per month . For child care for my 8 month old child for four days only would amount to £782 add to that the extra hours for my four year old son and meals £1312 . Then out of what’s left there’s household bills to pay which doesn’t leave enough to cover , and being only fours days at that , that means loosing £96.15 every week on a four week month that totals £384.62 taking the total month loss up to £1696.12 leaving nothing for house hold bills of any kind .
