What the petition asks
Teresa May has not only failed to honour the referendum result but has been instrumental in trying to undermine democracy.
By also trying to undermine the democratic decision of the electorate she is also bringing parliament into serious disrepute at a time when confidence in politicians is already at very low levels. This is likely to have serious consequences for social cohesion as the tensions will increase further.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The resignation of a Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
