What the petition asks
Our son has ADHD and is struggling at school like hundreds of other children. However it has become apparent that due to recent events and myself doing a lot of research online and talking to other parents. The mainstream school system has hardly anybody trained to deal with kids mental health !!
All special needs schools have trained teachers for ADHD /etc but not all children can get into those schools due to funding or local authority criteria so are left in mainstream school without people who are able to deal with any incidents or problems with children with mental health problems and most of the time the children are punished or treated like "normal" children when in fact this often on most occasions makes the situation or problem 100% worse
