Give childcare allowance to parents returning to work after maternity leave

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Parents who are returning back to work after maternity leave get little or no help with childcare costs.

I’ve created this petition to ask the government to please consider helping working parents with childcare cost eg vouchers or an allowance

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand you would like more support for parents returning to work but we aren't sure exactly what support you would like to be given.

You might like to sign one of these petitions:

Change in legislation to encourage & support new mums getting back to work.

Make childcare free from one year old

Alternatively you could start a new petition setting out clearly what help you would like given to working parents.
