Review the Children Act to include dangers from EMF technologies.

What the petition asks
5G and predecessor technologies are known to cause cancers and other ill affects in humans. An ammendment needs to be added to safeguard children from local authorities and government rolling out untested technologies which causes or is likely to cause significant harm.
We have known for a long time the ill affects of electromagnetic frequencies in use of mobile devices and this is heavily documented. With the roll out of 5G we are seeing an increase in public awareness to these affects which are said to be up to 10 times higher. Our children are more susceptible to these microwave frequencies and need protecting from them.
Little research has been done by the companies and local authorities adopting these technologies in our city centres and communities.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take specific action.
We understand that you would like a review into the impact of EMF technology but we are not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
The Children Act is concerned with who is responsible for children and their duties in respect of them. It does not cover health risks or technologies.
You could start a new petition calling for more research into EMF technologies if that is something you would like to see happen.
