What the petition asks

Unpaid and voluntary internships of all lengths must be made illegal. They are exploitative & harm social mobility. Despite the Government's recent efforts, they are still common. It must be made easier for interns to understand their rights, and to report organisations that offer unpaid work.

It has been estimated that an unpaid internship last one month in London will cost the intern over £1000.
